Thanks. And I almost felt like that already:

hello
I have only been playing this game for for a month so im still learning how to do everything
but still I have something I would like to say.....

In this game i have a huge list of what i dislike, lack of metal, drive bys, the how-to sucks,....etc
but still
I think this is a great FREE game.
If not for this game i would be stuck with .....farmvell or one of those 3D fantasy games that all seem to be the same. :(
so to makers of this game i say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU thank you :D
and may you someday make Haven & Hearth to be your perfect game.
let us all take a moment remember and honor trisby, the true desident of Tris, who was last seen in all white walking into a river with her beloved sledgehammer in her hands. May she find honor and glory in the next life

The tidiness bonus has been removed. (Yes, we know this sucks for those of you who came late to the table (pun intended), but those who are already ahead will not get less ahead by us leaving it in.)

Bad idea. Where now spend gold and other stuff ? What use of symbel now ? Why we need silk now anyway ? 90% silk produced in AD goes to tables. 80% of gold and silver goes to tables. Do you think everybody will be putting gold to pave roads? Thats stupid.
Yes, big city still will be raising army, increasing production of cheese, but for smaller villages it means no fighters, because 3-4 people cannot overrun in production 50 people. So people like Klaue and Nao now have chance to take over them all.

now only the items on the table matter, not who put them on the table. all symbel items are still valuable, so you will still use plenty of gold, silver, silk, and high q items for your tables.

so what your saying is that when you got us to agree to stop raising jewelry over 1000... you were bullshitting us so that we would stop and you would have much more?

I have mixed feelings. (I'm a relatively new player, and somewhere between 'total noob' and 'average joe' in the stats department)

Mostly because I was the tree farmer for our village, and the need just went way down - though is still present, mind you!

So a palisade will not decay if there's a claim over it - but there are still claims held by dead characters and even characters that don't play anymore, and that's a concern.

I know there are several palisades in our village we /wanted/ to decay... because they were poorly placed, or no longer needed.

As for tidiness, I don't see it as as a loss of things for symbel or what have you, but a greater need for food. Just imagine how much more food people are going to want now that they're not gaining veritable craptons of stats off of it?

And as for saying that the little people aren't going to catch up... just you wait! Determination beats headstart any day.

I would like an answer on the movement speed question though - particularly with regards to "Stomp to Dirt." Does a dirt road provide the same movement as a stone one? Does a brick road provide the same movement as a stone one?

I do have a few questions besides that. Mostly clarifications, after reading the whole thread and probably confusing myself.

Things like a Loom and Winepress cannot be moved inside... but if they're outside even on pavement, they will decay, yes?
Unclaimed structures on pavement still decay?
Village claim and personal claim function the same for warding off decay?
Do chicken coops count as structures like a kiln or oven for the purposes of decay, or as something like a Loom or Winepress? Drying racks? Wells?
