Don't think I've seen this question asked, but since the upgrade, has anyone checked the OS RAM settings to make sure the server is using all of the RAM available. Only asking this as I've helped an owner/operator of a few Microsoft database servers in the past and when OS updates were installed to it (done manually as it was an internal network sub-server) the most common problem he had was that the upgraded OS would only think the server had 8-16 gigs of RAM instead of the actual 64 Gigs, or if it did recognize all of the RAM, would only asign 20-50% of it for the actual server database (normal use of the database used about 30-40 Gigs of RAM). I've also seen lag like this on several MMOs when I was heavily into alpha/beta testing, along with several Minecraft servers and the primary cause of said lag was primarily not enough RAM, secondary cause being memory leaks that used up the RAM.

Perhaps you've already looked into this and if you have I apologize for taking up your time, but if you haven't, it's something you might want to try checking.

Also wanted to say thank for making such a great game as Haven, and hope you can continue to develop it, along with your other projects such at Salem, etc...

this is a great game, but ever since this server upgrade i have lost 2 boats, 4 large chests, a pick axe and quite a bit of other stuff due to game freezes while out in my boat... :? but at least the map works

if that was the case, would it explain the lag? Before the upgrade the lag wasn't so bad, and not It seems like I watch my character lag more than move, just wondering if anyone else is getting this and if that ^ could fix it :)

Also wanted to add something I observed when the server first came back up a few hrs ago today. When I first logged in when only 88 people were online according to the homepage, the amount of lag was about the same/less then before the upgrade. By the time I logged out 40-60 mins after logging in the lag had gone back to what we've been experiencing since the upgrade and number of people online was over 250 (sorry can't recall exact number) Hope this info might be helpful in tracking down the problem.

After this most recent restart, i was one of the first people back online, There was vitually no lag at all, Better then i have seen in over a year

And then when it hit 100-150+ The lag came back, and was worse then it was before the OS upgrade
