And don't forget about a village managment system pls

yes pls this

And systems for peaceful players to defend their property without grinding curios 24/7 with bots.

You can make that system, just reduce the study size from 4x4 to 3v3, then casuals can keep up.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

If you don't want to get raided in this game, this is not the game for you, farmville would be the game for you.
Noone is keeping peaceful players from getting combat stats to be able to defend their village. Peaceful players should not be immune to getting raided.

Um, how bout no? I'm not logging in at 5 in the morning cuz my phone emailed me and told me I'm getting "seiged" so that I can get on and somehow try to fight off the 10 guys with 1k ua by myself to protect my useless b wall that doesn't do anything because I still died.

The current ram system at least gives smaller people a chance. And if you really want to ram someone that bad, build a b wall post off in the distance and expand it to their wall and make a little square for the ram. I would say this is absurd and nobody would do this, but in haven there is never too much grind lol.

Well, you should be aware if you're playing this game, that there's such a thing as raiding which is intended by developers, again, this game might not be suitable for you.

Yea, the ram system gives smaller people a chance, but the problem is that the ram is too easy to destroy and too easy to build with alts, raiding should be kinda expensive for the raiders, so they raid the ones that are worth raiding not some peaceful players that have just gotten up their first palisade/bwall just for fun. If you would build a bwall post and the ones would see that they are about to get raided, they would just move all their stuff and characters to another safe brickwall on other part of the world.

Reduce study size? Crafting enough curios to last me 4 months takes me 1 weekend of work and 2 foragers, 1 on swamp and 1 on mountain.
And if they reduce study size then what, you study shit like enthroned toads and poppy flowers while other players study pearls, bluebells, silken ribbons, porcelain dolls and golden eggs.
If they reduced study size then 1 year into the world Troll Skulls would simply be collectibles cause I study 9 items at the moment that give me more lp/h than troll skulls give per slot taken (7.5k/h)

There's a system for that.

It's called intelligence. Defending your
property is not so much what you're
looking for, rather than safety of your
property. You can't DEFEND your land
and still be peaceful. Defending means
Image
To DEFEND you would have to be non-
peaceful. Or you would have to HIRE
a non-peaceful group. (possible)

What you're probably looking for is just
safety in general. That's possible with
enough thought into how to stay safe.
You build your village in a location and
manner that prevents it from being seen
easily (Far away from waterways and
map borders, this way no one stumbles
upon it). Then you create your walls in
a manner that deters any possible invader
liiiiiike somethin like this.
Image

Notes : If you're a pussy but legit want
to play anyway and grant yourself safety
via a "fuck raiding that" kind of base...
+The inner brickwall cubes should each
touch, but not connect. Cascade doesn't
work this way and it becomes frustrating.
+Can use gates in the palisade walls for
messing with any would be invaders.
+make gates in the inner most wall to the
space between blocks and inner wall. in
the event of a ram that you've not yet
managed to stop.... start filling the inner
loop in with brick cornerposts on the site
of ramming.

If you want to be safe in Haven and Hearth
you must learn that safety is not something
that comes free. It's paid for in blood and
through hard work. If you won't pay for it
in blood then you must pay for it entirely
in hard work. This can mean making a base
like this, or making friends with everyone
(emerald city style), or being a trusted
trader that could easily call upon armies
to defend against any attack.

You spend 20 minutes making yourself safe?
I'll spend 10 minutes killing you.

Here's an easier solution: Live in a remote location, set up a brickwall, and don't make any enemies. I live in a cave not visible from the river and have a brickwall around my home. Even before I had my brickwall up (which took me over two weeks because I didn't really care much) only once did someone stumble upon my home (and only because I took the risk of planting trees right outside the cave, revealing someone was living there - the perpetrator was just chasing a deer he was hunting).

With my brickwall up and my remote location (and my property being small enough to immediately notice any rams in the vicinity, as well as having a crossroads to the only viable place for a ram), nobody's going to bother ramming into my property unless they're really out to get me personally.

And that's the casual approach. If you really want to go all the way and make it completely not worth it to raid you, just tunnel down to level 5, establish your base there, set up crossroads so you can leave the place, and make the mine holes unusable (by putting fences around them, destroying them or walling them off). The only way to get into your place will be to tunnel towards you on level 5 AND build a ram. (Crossroads outside of your bwall allows you to destroy any rams they build too.)

It's not that hard to live in safety, you just have to give up some conveniences. (For stuff that can only be done outside like farming you can just have a secondary base. Nobody's going to ram a brickwall just to harvest some crops. I even leave my crops entirely unprotected (not even claimed) and I haven't had any trouble yet.)

Couple things I want to ask Jorb and Lofter.
Firstly the screen of the trailer was in rectangle shape does that mean that it has option to go fullscreen in windowed? Since the original was square and it was fixed screen and you couldn't expand it, but than ender came along and fixed that.
Secondly can you zoom in and zoom out in game? Also can you do the same for the minimap?
Thirdly what are settings for video and audio, plus camera?
Fourthly you guys deserve every reward for unique and creative game awards. Since haven and hearth is one of its kind. Unless large companies see its potential and employee you too or decide to work with you two great men that brought such masterpiece to us all.

I have to say that seeing the last two trailers makes me happy that you ended up going back to doing your own thing :) I'd met you guys on Salem, and as nice as the game is, I can really see a metric ton of creativity poured into the new graphics. It just all really clicks with a unified theme. A goofy theme, but it really really works well for setting the mood :) Looking forward to seeing the final thing, as I will most likely get dragged here against my will even if I forget to make time to check up on it xD Good luck with the last stretch!

Haven will be boring game if all "peaceful players" quit and only remaining part is "attacking and defending players" I know lots of players that dont play this to harm, kill or raid others with all bugs and abuses possible ¦]
