Or are all activities supposed to yield curiosities that give around the same amounts of LP/h? I remember that in Haven the curiosites you got by paving, mining, chopping wood etc were all absolutely terrible, and I never understood if this was intentional or just something jorb and loftar never bothered to balance.

For what I understand, most of the LP will be given by discovering things ( in an hidden way ...) and less by grinding.

This may have already been asked in a previous topic but will Hafen be Win10 compatible, did well in my test environment so was considering going through with the upgrade but if hafen doesn't have support for it then I'll wait to update. :D

lol im pretty sure the client is made in java, and any operating system that can run java can run hafen.

I read about that, but I was under the impression that those "LP surprises" were just little bonuses added on top of the existing curiosity system.

I'm not really sure how the game could possibly work if it's centered around that... guess we'll have to wait and see

I think it is skills we get from discoveries, LP will still be earned the old way. We'd rapidly run out of things to discover if that was going to be the main source of LP.

It would be cool if the game just had straight up Achievements like other games with the simplest giving say 10-100 LP going up to say, something exceedingly hard giving a million, "but" you only get the lp the first time you get the achievement. having something like 300-500 to start, maybe even less would definately speed up lp progression and give purpose to certain things that normally would maybe get skipped by a single player. Also, since these Achievements would be "per character", alting would be less useful since if you spend the time to get the, say "Crafter steel armor" achievement, you were not spoending that time raising up an alt. I dunno, just an idea. Even have stuff like "played 1 month without custom client". Would that be possible? For the game or server to tell if you are using a custom client and log it? Imagine how many people would quit botting if they had a "Played 1 year without using custom client" 500 million LP or somesuch. :P

Custom Client: Hi server, I am default client
Server: Hi default client
Custom Client: huehuehueheuehueuhe
