i can understand the frustrations people have with the new system, but i really can't believe anyone would think we should go back to bucketing deforestation, wildlife genocide, and grinding wheat forever in an endless race of who can poopsock (or macro) the hardest
But no one I knew did that. I've been with the same 6 people (RL firends) since world 1. NONE of them would come back with this change. FIrst time solo now..lol We never macroed or botted. Never cared about trying to "poopsack" anyone. That was just the 10% player base that was into all that griefing and bullshite (Which includes the Sodom gorup and the mods and the here to fore reffered to as "The Group".) 90% of players just played the damn sandbox, traded and did their thing in their communites while dodging fallout from bored botters, griefers and factionieers. I have alreaady stated that the curio system is fine, something new and totally ok, but NOT as the only way to get lp. I like that killing people and griefing doesn't give LP anymore, I LIKE that their is no incentive to bot common actions!!!
I believe it should be FAIR hybrid system where MULTI-Task/Step end result actions give some LP. Such as taking baked goods out of the oven, finishing a Mine hole, making SIlk thread and cloth. Stuff that takes a lot of real time effort and personal attention. DOn't wanna give LP for hunting?...FINE WITH ME...but you could give me some for making SAUSAGE! Cuts out the bot and doesn't punish me! (Insert myriad of end action multi-task item trees as example here)
