25 - 4 = 21

21*21 = 441 str needed to match the soak... you need more to deal damage of course.

if ram and sledge hammer stack, then you can break palisade with a baby blue eyes noobie. Which im wondering if that was the whole point of this.

That's not as bad as I thought, then. I have no problem with noobs on a ram, at least you have more than a minute or two to stop them.

I don't think the sling "problem" was dire enough to demand an emergency fix before a replacement was implemented.

The only thing that hurts my heart is sling nerf. What if the damage formula would use MM as well as quality? For example, max_damage = 400/MM_value x sling_qualityx0.75.

Curious on your formula here....

A. Do you mean MD = 400/(MM x SQ x .75)

or

B. Do you mean MD = (400/MM) x SQ x .75

Niether make sense to me....with my stats although newbish

A. MD = 400 / (200 x 306 x .75)......400/45900 = .01 ....that would would make the sling about a useful as throwing tooth picks.... absolutly pointless

B. MD = (400/200) x 306 x .75 .... 2 x 306 x .75 = 459 ... this is actually higher than my max damage (before update anyway)

So from what i can tell you want them to either Delete slings from the game or make the even stronger than before... or did u just not test ur equation.

Yeah, my bad.
There is another formula, though:
sqrt(SQ)xsqrt(MM)
And some testing:
Newb, 50 MM, 50ql sling. ~47 damage.
Same newb, 100 MM, same ql sling. ~70 damage.
Farmer, 75 MM, 350ql sling. ~171 damage.
You, 200 MM, 306ql sling. ~238 damage. (By the way, 200 MM is somewhat nice result.)
So, with this formula you`d be still able to hunt, even if you`d need more stones for that.
And for min damage - that should be pretty easy - the min damage is calculated as max damage x MM/PER, and in case PER>MM min damage = max damage.
