Are there are any wizards who would be so kind as to explain how to plot the data? I've got the world give map, but i'm not sure how to make the coords that were posted line up in any reasonable way.

EDIT: I rescind this request, I figured it out, i'm just a little derp today, apparently.

As far as I know the coords Loftar gave are in 1000s of tiles from 0,0 - you can use the ruler on the map to calculate the coordinates of your village or whatever. I think thats how it works anyway.

Impassable barriers, like the edges of the world according to loftar

Well there goes half my island if that is how it is. :( ah well at least my village should be fine, hope everything in my houses are fine. :)

I am familiar with the world of Alpha testing, and generally in Alpha if a block of your world gets reset it doesn't get locked forever. Most alpha tests would have rolled right the hell back to the last map server or reset (in majorly developed games). I know we call this Alpha testing but is closer to an indie early beta. Alpha tends to lean to basic mechanics, visuals, and tends to rollback and reset and get modified a lot.

Here's a map update with the affected areas, red being ground level and blue first cave level. Credit to MvGulik.

Vigilance wrote:loftar, can you tell us what parts got nuked so we can prepare?

At ground level, the following macrogrids are nuked:
(5, 2), (5, 3), (5, 4), (8, -12), (9, -11), (10, -3), (-4, 5), (-9, 0) and (-12, 9).
At the first cave level, the following are nuked:
(3, 7), (-6, -5), (-12, 7), (-12, 8), (-12, -2) and (-12, -3).
The other cave levels appear to be unaffected, but there may be some insides of houses that are gone as well.

Each coordinate represents a 1000x1000 tile portion of the map, where (0, 0) is the portion whose north-west corner is exactly on the ruined RoB. X and Y increase, as expected, towards the south-east.

Thanks for the info.
