They will take time to generate a new map and bring it online. So that will be done on the 20th I imagine. But they do specifically say:

We will open the eternal alpha of the new and improved Haven & Hearth: August 21st, 2015

The clothes, faces, and beards were nice changes. I agree on that. The long white beards was my favorite.

The most shocking one Ive seen a couple times now I don't think anyone's mentioned is they have mined twice in videos and no supports were used. What mechanics do mining use now I wonder.
