ok, quick question, when I was refused for the paradox forums lucky 50 for the alpha accounts, my email stated that I was guaranteed for the next beta...

"There is a beta coming up in the near future which will have a lot more spots and you are guaranteed to participate in that."

So I will, of course, advertise the game to all my game mates, but I don't need to stress everybody out with spamming a referral link, right?

this sign up gives people confirmation links, the first beta signup didn't, did i not really sign up before

The first one was not fake. I don't know why anything has changed or what their policies are though.

I don't see that anywhere. I see... "Finally the beta application is open!! Sign up and get 3 friends to sign up to have a guaranteed spot in the beta:" and "there will not be any email confirming 3 sign ups through your unique URL. However, if 3 legit email addresses can be refered to your unique URL you will automatically be taken into the beta. We will inform you when its getting closer. Hope this makes sense!" but I see no post or comment that says anything about April. Could you show us exactly where it was and what it said?
