Server issues: New server

okay so I log in today after being gone for few days, One of my charactors is dead apparently and i cannot use the hearth fire he had, But my other hearthling is fine

anyone know what might of caused this? murdered?

Had you left scents that could have gotten you summoned? If so, the people (person) that killed you will have left scents doing so. You can be summoned any time you're offline. Scents that can get you summoned: Vandalism, Theft, Battery, Murder.

Anyone else have your account information? They might have gotten you killed (good reason to not share account information).

nope, its weird i came back to house, hearthfire was gone, missing things like drying racks, winepress, every cabinet in house...certain things like who would take..its very strange, i dont have ranging so cannot track, i really dont know what happened

I just unlocked Ranging, there was not tracks or scents left, so i dont know. I was thinking because server had issues things just dissapeared/lost.

If you have only just bought ranging, then I'm assuming you are still a new char and you may not even see scents that are left
Scent visability is calculated by (your intelligence vs their stealth)? and its very easy to raise stealth by buying and buffing
Griefers make this a priority purely so they dont get caught as often, especially by noob chars

You can "force show" scents by leaving and reentering an area over and over. Still doesn't mean you're going to be able to track the scents.
