Ah I see and weight is based on intelligence right? So a experienced player who kept their intelligence low might make a pretty good curiosity and one that had high intelligence and or low experience would make a pretty horrible one.. Still maybe there should be a minimum LP to even drop a skull so you don't waste your time. Sorry about that, I know better now.

Nothing to be sorry about, we're all trying to figure skulls out. I enjoy that it's a gamble with skulls so that it's undesirable to just grab random players and murder them in hopes of getting a good curio.

Not that I would go around looking for someone who had low intelligence and high LP i am pretty peaceful. :) Just in case a village leaves a skeleton somewhere or something.
I have a couple of pretty nice curiosity so far anyway, got my first flotsam today. :)

Nobody knows the actual formula. It's all just conjecture at this point until someone runs some actual tests on it.

I wouldn't even trust loftar's word since he apparently doesn't even correctly understand how some things work.
