ummm. It's so easy "I've already got two ovens up and more bread than I need".
Does explain quite a lot but who didn't already think that right...lol

Base Camp Alpha... day... what is it, three? Stats lowdown:

Unarmed: 17
Exploration: 11
Carpentry: 2
Cooking: 9
Farming: 8
Survival: 12

Agility: 13
Intelligence: 14
Constitution: 21
Dexterity: 18

All other stats still at base level.

Project now is to find a place to actually settle. Good clay, good water, good soil. Good something. I could go back to the tin mine, but frankly I don't need it. (And it obviously isn't really mine). Plus, there isn't any good clay/soil/water there. Base camp alpha here has a cave that I'd love to check for mines, but I'm not seeing rustroot yet by a wide margin. Carrots still shine with their absence. Tin makes beer tankard, so pretty soon we will be laying down a cask of beer to get traveling (plant fibers for herb tables were missing). Then it's on to the RoB to start levling combat skills by kritters. If I get it up to 25 before that I should be more than set. Mostly eating rabbits and chickens atm. Rabbits to increase agil, chickens to avoid increasing cons by eating more bread. Carrots would be nice. In the ground we have tea, poppies, wheat, onions and grapes. We will be planting flax immediately.

Also, increase exploration further to see inkweed. I need maps.

Note to self: Newb bed is not for newbs. How the fuck am I supposed to get a skin?

+4 change, so levling is fast now. Second batch of rabbit leather just came in to make a backpack. First batch went into a water flask (essential) and a seedbag (not a back pack, but it had to do. It's almost as good when looking for seeds).

Four pairs of moth, so silk is an option. We went plus one industry while at the mine, but that's back to neutral now. +4 change, +2 peacful.

so wild wheat and grapes are only on grassland, right? or heath or moor? those are the only 2 crops that i lack aside from hemp, which i don't need because i have flax. and pumpkins, as there are no wild pumpkins, god i would kill for pumpkins.

your cheating with the metal, you should drop it and destroy your chests if you want a true noob experience.

Jorb. I forsee an issue with you never being able to get strength. Can you explain with your current base setup in high level animal territory how you will be able to obtain strength? and without strength you will not be able to kill any larger animals... your other stats will increase and then even if you do get some strength food it will be very hard to get enough of it to level up.

Also you kinda lucked out with that metal. 95% of noobs wont be able to just find one like you did.

Yea but metal isnt necessary at the beginning, it only makes storing easier. However the difference is jorb knows how to play, while a noob has no clue what to do.
