Server Issues: Crashes, Lag, Restarts, Rollbacks

h&h is like the first game that fascinated me in years, including all those games you buy for 50$ etc. so sad to see how its unplayable most of the time. i really wish it was a game we would have to pay for it

well donate to them! so they can afford some betetr hardware, and maybe even give the server its own seperate connection to their service provider
and maybe be encouraged to earn enough donations so they can do this full time if they ever wanted to

Well, we just got the new RAM, and the server wouldn't boot with it, and the symptoms heavily indicate motherboard failure, so now we'll have to wait for a new mobo to arrive, too. :P

want to see my computers DXdiag file? so you can see what is inside it, and i could even tell you how much we can sell such a computer at so you get an idea of what kind of machines we build to some people (one of my bosses are a linux nerd, and has done a lot with servers, my other boss (primary boss) have once made a sick! internet share pc, which made 2 internet connections shareable to our pc cafee when we had the will to run it unfortunely we sold it already, even through it probably could have helped u guys a giant lot!

i got a spare machine i (MAYBE!) dont need, depends on a lot, which i probably could mail to my sister in sweden, and then ya could pick it up at her, IF! i dont need it that is (For lending only heh)

hm. since your restart most actions are very fluent, but therefore everything with a richt-klick lag a bit? (especially by building sth) oO

yeah me, but because of the overall running atm, it is acceptable comparred to before crash
ps. okay it gets laggy again! and with window bugs/fails, in showing (kind of)

omg, i was stuck in lagg for like 8 min, and then when i finnaly got control of my charater, i died! nooo!
Is there a way to revive my charater? :S that death was shit.

You can't retrieve dead characters.
So it's gonna be another long while until the server is back to it's full?
It's still worth the wait.

You really should implement somehting so we can avoid death by lagg and such :S (Just an idea)

phew i found out to use the inherit, atleast that works.. now i gotta train up my char again!

yes when you reincarnate from the runestone in the character creation room you inherit the character's claim as well.
