the maintainers should just set up a loud alarm that goes off every time the server goes down and get a smart phone app that buzzes them if they're out

would be nice to have the server go back up instantly every time :{

Not really. The weekends are probably the only time anyone has a chance to mess around with optimizing the server. It's pretty much been that way the last couple of months. Thus: Loftar is probably tinkering. Quit whining and leave him be.
