This random creature appears and you have the option to give it things or use stuff on it and treat it nicely/poorly and perhaps in return you will receive something nice or on the other hand it would run away because you keep trying to pour honey on it. Idk, the inclusion of strange little events like that sounds fun.
I'm sure the majority of you would find it fun but as I said in an earlier post the reason I enjoy Haven so much is the realism, I'm just not a fan of that type of thing in this type of game. When my char sees a dryad or a troll I have to pretend she has drunk a little too much wine, lol, I know there is other unrealistic content, like fast travel and I don't like that either but, on the whole Haven feels pretty realistic to me and that is what attracts me to it, survival in the wilderness, growth and progression, not spirits, mythology or witchcraft.
Basically it dumbs it down - for me at least, and turns it into something else.
If I can make it leave, then fair enough, I'll have buckets of honey ready to pour over it and my char will have just had a bad nightmare.
I would have never figured you for a pragmatist.....
