From the screenshots and the video, it seems that the jump to 3D actually isn't adding anything mechanic wise to the game.
Are there mechanics planned that exploit the fact that the game isn't 2D?
It also seems that you're using Haven and Hearths interface right now, is that just for now? the interface of H&H is easily it's weakest point

thats what i was wondering, it looks like a 3d flatworld with the same click-to-move crap. hopefully the "mountaineering" skill is something like climbing or jumping

I liked all the pictures and videos of Salem, I dont mind the graphics, but all this talk about making H&H pay to play, and methods for getting money out of me is a bit distressing.... I don't think the dev's would do that, they stated before they wouldn't. so don't do it guys, I cant afford to play games I gotta pay for more than once.

Could someone compile HnH so I can run it stand alone since it will now be left behind like a long forgotten alt. Which I can understand seeing as you are getting paid to work on Salem.
Once you get HnH compiled just send me a link in a PM please ;) .

Whining about cash shops is so annoying... especially when people don't even know how it will work.

F.e selling the ability to craft or build things with special skins/models would be perfectly fine. Players will determine the ingame-value of those vanity items themselves.

Auction House is an interesting idea, however... where will it be? Center SG? Or several times all over the map? (would ruin the feel imo)

In one of these articles I read something about silver coins being the currency... what convinced you, jorb? I thought currencies were bad and all...

I think jackard mentioned something about how zeldalike combat would be cool. Well, +1 for that. HnH combat system is funny, but there's definitely better things out there.

Personally I have no problem with the avatars, or anything seen in the videos, except the clickiness. we can haz WASD plox?

These pseudojournalists out there really have no clue what HnH is about. lolz.

I suppose we should consider Salem to be the less 'hardcore' version of H&H.

I think it would be cool to have, say, a trading post every 10 minutes along the river. They would be stocked with basic items, and could also items players sold to them at a markup.
