How many plants did you put in? I see 2 types so far, but they aren't ready to be harvested yet.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Oh my. We just started getting over the prejudice towards goons, and now 4chan? Delamore, you better hold them in check.

All I saw were some itty bitty saplings. Everything else looked like early-stage hops and/or grapes. (with regard to Blaze's post)

Well, yes; the plants are newly planted, so you'll have to wait until they grow up. I just kinda thought it'd be more fun that way (and a lot simpler for us, to boot). :)

Edit: And by the way, the new plants don't actually do anything yet. It'll be coming, though, so don't worry.

Do they require pollination?

I can't wait to see what this new crop is. Looks a lot like carrots right now.

Anyway, next time you add crops, please spread some randomly around the wilderness in addition to spawning them at RoB. It'd give us an incentive to explore, and make it harder for griefers to exterminate new plant species.

I was planning to do something like that, but as you know, the world is -- though not yet infinite -- not entirely small. I'd have to add quite a lot for anyone to have any reasonable chance to find any. To avoid complete grief-death of the new plants, though, I did add some in Bottleneck and in Laketown. (Other villages may thing it a bit unfair, but Bottleneck and Laketown are simple the only two villages whose coordinates I know off-hand)
