A bug introduced by some changes that loftar recently made to the saving of characters has caused widespread data corruption in the form of duplicated items and bungled character inventories. After a brief survey of the damage done I have concluded that this world is beyond repair, and cannot by any effort of ours be brought to a satisfactorily unspoilt state. No rollback to an earlier date is possible.

This means:

Sometime within the next 36-48 hours there will be a complete and total wipe of all characters and all maps, and a new world will be generated.

Due to the short notice we will not be able to introduce any major changes. The changes we do introduce will focus on balancing.

Until reset time the server will run as normal -- bugs and all -- and you should feel free to engage in whatever apocalypse induced madness you feel is appropriate. Or just say your goodbyes to this world.

Our deepest apologies, we hope you will join us in world four.

Jorb, I am happy about 1 thing now. I managed to find a copper and tin mine before this happened, and complete my first iron and wrought iron trades. I fullfilled my goals in W3, therefore I can move on.
As most of you have said goodbye to World 2, and some of you even to World 1, I will be saying goodbye for the first time to the third world.

Soooo.... When is the next Sodom going to pop up?

I am actually glad that this world will be ending, it gives me a chance to catch up with all the people who started earlier than I did.
