think of it this way kyros: you have a chance now to learn the game and plan for the map reset. it's not like the loss of you character is going to be much of a setback.

there will be a huge difference soon enough after the reset as some people simply play more than others.

ALso to everyone spazing over their hard work....keep in mind that those players who have invested far more than you are actually welcoming a reset, myself and WV included iirc though they might change their sentiment now that it's actually being promised.
