I guess that's, at this point, inspired by Dwarf Fortress.

Soweit ich das beurteilen kann, ist das Fox Fuet weiß :) Jetzt bräuchten wir erstmal Grills und Ketchup! *g*

But repeat it 4 times, and keep your hearth in the very bottom one.

The wort recipe does?

I have not tried making wort myself, but from the small icons on the recipe, you get the impression it only needs an empty bucket.

Great update!

How long does it take for curd to transform into cheese, and for fresh cheese to transform into other forms?

:D nice work! I'll be feeling even more at home down in my mine when I get some barrels of beer set up. Now I just need to convince you to make me a couple of feet shorter and let me grow my beard instead of forcibly shaving my hearthling while I'm logged out.

Crazy update. Will take time to get on top of all of this. :D
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Yes

So, what about wine and beer makes it so worth it to go through all that trouble making it?

It's BEER, man. Watch your posts, this one was borderline blasphemy.

Are we getting different beers in the future?

Oh, I'd like to propose another alcohol - slivovitz. It's a spirit that's popular in most Slavic countries, and even in some Germanic ones. We'd need a plum tree added. Picked plums would be placed in a barrel to ferment, and then distilled in a still (requires a ton of cast iron). It could give Con FEP, or switch it around so beer gives Con and slivovitz Str. Only problem is that I don't know if it's thematically appropriate, because spirits appeared about the same time as gunpowder, I think.
