As someone who's just discovered this game today and is quite looking forward to logging in for the first time... can anyone guess how much longer the server is going to be down, based on past experience? Does this happen a lot?

I play this game almost 6 months now and seen this happen like 15 times.. Usually server is down like half an hour .

Srv down happens sometimes - it's alpha and Devs have some other important job to do
- so just be patient - you'll get used to srv downtimes

The server went down last night for me around 3 am. Yes... it sucked... Sucked balls.

Indeed it does, but fear not, thats not a bad position to be in when the server goes down, yes any remaining live Mouflon will despawn but all your stuff will still be there. Whats worse is when you're in a boat, in the middle of the river, miles from home, with chests full of goodies, because unless you have the time to get back there before someone else finds it, thats lost. You can't log back in in the boat!

I'm not trying to say you're wrong to be but everyone is in the same... server.

coming from someone who admittedly hasnt played that long.... this is an abnormally long down time
