Inspired is the wrong word. People are usually inspired by works of others or works of nature. It's more like saying if HnH were an OS, you could call it Win98 and Salem could be WinXP. (Or something like that... horrible metaphor, I know, but it was only thing I could think of that might be universally understood.

I think the term is... a spiritual successor?

As loftar doesn't have access to many gaming computers one can only make educated guesses about system requirements.

I have Pentium dual core 1.8 GHz, 1Gb of RAM, and a 256Mb GDDR3 GeForce 8500 GT graphics card. Salem runs perfectly smoothly on my system. Or it would, if my ISP didn't suck so much.

Well, after a long time i get to write here again, to ask for an information. Should i get an e-mail after those three friends registered for the beta, or i get an e-mail if and only if I get invited?

I'm running on an AMD Athlon XP 2.0 GHz, 1 GB RAM, and a Radeon HD 3650. The other computer I have access to is an AMD Athlon 64 2.8 or 3.0 GHz (forget clock speed on it, it's a 3600+), 2GB RAM, and a nVidia GeForce FX 5200. If anyone has anything older than that.... I feel sorry for you. (I feel sorry for myself being stuck with this ancient thing I've wanted to replace for the last 2-3 years. I miss you, EVE. You're a harsh mistress that teased me and then turned me away because I don't have a beefy enough processor for you. )

I got my friends to sign up (made sure they confirmed their account, they should get an email to do so) and got my beta email about half an hour later.

I think I just caught them when they were sending out the mails.
