To be honest, the greatest problem isn't so much the funds (Hetzner is rather cheap), but the time needed to set everything up.

I was going to suggest you try hiring someone to do a one-time upgrade then (if money is less of an issue), but then you'd have to spend time looking for someone who was competent I suppose..
Signed,
that guy who did that thing same as the first II

Also why not

1) Turn off loggin
2) Revert back to Debian 5.0 and have the same stuff prior to the OS upgrade? Tried and true, we know it's at least bearable.

I can certainly assure you that it would take less time to do the upgrade than to teach someone else to do it. :)

I don't think you understand what logging I speak of; I speak of filesystem journalling, not even logging.

Debian 5.0 being deprecated means not only that it isn't receiving updates, but also that the files to install it are kind of hard to even get hold of. ;)

And it's not as if it was actually "good" by any absolute metric to begin with. :)

I'll do it for free xD Inclusive nginx or lighttpd as Apache replacement :P (but it seems like the Webserver here is Ashd)

The moulfon would be gone, and you wouldn't be dead.

Nope, unless you got killed before the server shutdown of course :P
You will log back in like nothing happened but the mouflon will be gone, though.
