I don't know if they're doing actual keys or not. However, to access the beta information on the forums, as well as to log into the game, you have to have your account flagged for the beta through Paradox. It looks like someone has posted the client download the last I looked on one of the open forums.

Second, I believe that just because you've received confirmation that you are guaranteed to be in the beta does not necessarily guarantee you will be in the first round of invites. I've no clue what the schedule looks like, but I believe that one of the community managers at Paradox has stated this clearly on the forums there.

Seriously, if you guys are having beta invite issues, you need to take it to Paradox. Jorb and loftar really don't have any control over it at this point. (Imagine they have input, but all the details are being handled by Paradox.)

I know. I mean I played it on one computer. Then I quit playing and logged out. Now I want to play on a different computer, but the only way I can figure to get the client is through the email but my beta key only worked the very first time I downloaded it. So I guess what I'm asking is is there another way to download the client?

How beta keys are being handed out seems rather random, and yes they're using keys. My girlfriend got her three referrals two days ago and received her email for it which is how I know about it. I signed up/confirmed on the 17th and haven't received anything.

Just makes me curious how their bot is handing things out.

Loftar said that they are going to give invites out day by day, so everyone wouldn't log in at the same time.
