Interesting tidbit that you might already be aware of and I'm not saying it because it applies to yourself or Jorb for any reason but keep in mind that allowing an individual to form a preconceived notion that abuse might be taking place can lead to unhappy times. The truth is almost always secondary.

Questioning someones ethics, even in theory, is rude.

How fortunate that no one was doing anything of the sort then. All I'm getting at is it's good to be as open and transparent as possible in almost all areas and the chance for meaningful dialogue between developer and player should be visible and occur often.

Haha, well, yes, I have considered that on many occasions. :)

It's not entirely trivial, of course, so I haven't been able to make it a priority enough to try it yet, but it's certainly not off the table.

The joy this would bring me.

Now, I could repeat this process until I discover what kind of setup is decent enough for fighting foxes and which moves work well in which situations, but that would cost me several characters.

just curious, what did you think was decent ua to fight a fox? and had you read any of the various guides re: melee combat with animals?

If you implemented AI as a neural network ...
It probably also would make it possible to make animals progress in skill on a per player base.
Which ... etc.

Procedural texture modifiers.

I have no clue anymore, it was a very long time ago. I think it was in world 6 (perhaps even w5?), so I can't even guess from my old character stats anymore. I had read the Combat 101 guide on the wiki, but everything happened so fast that I barely had any time to use the information.

Dying to a fox is pretty rare. In fact I never thought it was possible until me and some friends tried to 1v3 a fox at like 3 UA (Normally I wouldn't try it until 15-20 UA if you know what you're doing) and we ko'd like 10 times before it killed someone.

Add in game feature that allows players to play with multiple characters in 1 client.
