Content doesn't get implemented by itself; crazy I know. The feeding game was what kept many of us playing. I've already seen a reduction in activity levels in my village.

no righteous man raises his hand against the innocent,
a man need only strike another to make him evil."

We have a newbie farm community and the food change has been nothing but a blessing. And FEP is easily worked around. My concern is the boars. With Pacho's client I easily avoid them, but the majority of my newbie neighbors who use the default client die from boar attacks an average 5-7 times a day. And thats when they stay within our community area. Then again its mute if newbie experience isnt too much of a concern. (It may not be due to desired server stress).
If you ever run into someone in real life chasing moths, running down rabbits, or admiring the picket fence around your house that's me!

I presume he means the deviance bonus.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

Die or get knocked out? I saw a guy die from a bear attack the other day, but I imagine it's pretty rare.

Want to make some people play Eating Things Online and others get the job done without much consumption? Simple. Make stuff that adds 'hurt' FEP make people throw up, reducing their hunger and halving their stamina. Both sides become happy without too much an effort.

Tell you what. I'll make you a little program where you can click on buttons labeled "eat" all day long. For the rest of us, I think we'd prefer to play a game where you actually get things done.

Hear hear! In the time since the update I've been able to actually plow my fields and get some real work done without needing to eat through several cupboards of vegetables and fish.

Under the old system I would need to dualbox just to keep my stores up, my alt fishing while my main worked.

ps. I don't give a shit if some of you feel the need to power through your stats, its bad gameplay

Ever pause to consider that this is the solution to that? especially if food gave more FEP to reflect the old rates

It is also bad gameplay when you cannot see any progress in your crafting works for weeks since your stats don't improve at all. I guess slowing the drain down 10x was too harsh, the latest suggestion from jorb to reduce it to like 3.5x seems reasonable.
