I just got on the server and only been on for a min and bam back down is there a good reason the server went down for a long time yesterday and just crashed.

There should be a limit to the amount of alts one can make per day.

Many of the veterans would say "yes" to that question because alts are necessary when the world evolves and you need specialized characters to do certain things later on (such as specialized farmers, industrial workers, etc) which, if applied to your main character, would result in crippling overspecialization.
