People have been using this thread to discuss Haven and the effects that the development of Salem will have on it. I don't really see a problem with asking a Haven development related question in a thread titled Game Development: Salem & Haven.

Not to mention the forums from paradox are absolutely atrocious. You have to either let your account age or have your post count go up before you can store more than 2 messages at a time. And it counts your outgoing mails in the number too -.- And I've yet to figure out a way to just search the salem subforum. Probably possible but simple search queries bring stuff back from every game in the paradox forums.

i had always thought many of you have been using google for searching here too while i prefer internal search.

i am not going to deny it being atrocious though... i really hate i seem to have to connect to many facebook statistic whatever pages every time i load up a page there, which makes it super-slow reading anything there.

Paradox obviously is up to something if it went and dragged Haven's devs into hell...
A forum that severely limits the user, and punishes them constantly?

From the start, Paradox was fishy, in that they publish games that other publishers don't cover, but also have awful support for them... Maybe it's because they are a European publisher.

Well, if Haven is rendered to this and Salem is not much going to do much good, I guess Spirean's development should be vital for this sort of thing.
We plan to have it to have survival, but medieval fantasy, fun ideas comes first so it doesn't bore people, before people should start rampaging and PKing everyone.
It's not that you gotta survive against each other, but with each other (extremely hostile but varied world).

Sure people can reach full tech and build fortresses, but what's that worth if it doesn't get invaded by a army of undead?

You can think of it as a dark world full of all sorts of fantasy and mythical stuff... So combat will be common, just not with other players so much.

Perma banned for pointing out that although Letar said all Moderation discussion must take place in PM's, he refused to answer my PM's. Prior to this I was given a 24 hour ban for posting a quote from the cartoon Adventure Time. Apparently the fact that the main character of Adventure Time is named Finn and Letar is Finnish confused him.....

LOL WOW perma banned. Forums are 100% trash. I've almost stopped reading or going there at all unless i see a update.
