Server Issues: Crashes, Lag, Restarts, Rollbacks

The server crashed while I was holding my boat. Does this mean I will lose it because I won't be able to log-in at that place? =(
I don't know how to go back there because I've been walking for almost 3hrs to get to NB.

No, it doesn't mean you'll lose it because you won't be able to log in at that place, you'll lose it for another reason . When you log out while "holding" items, they seem to be destroyed. I discovered that by lifting up a boat when already in a boat, and finding that I couldn't put it down again. I had to log out, which made the boat I was holding disappear, never to be seen again.

The object you are lifting should only be destroyed if there is something in the way, as in you couldn't put it down on that spot.

It's happened to me everytime I've tried it. It's a convenient way of disposing of boats and the like.

Well, it's finally back up now. They really need to invest in a second server

Yes, and the funny thing is, I suddenly ended up in the middle of a lake without a boat... Weird.
