I'd like to see fleeing implemented. Something like, if you are in combat with the odds really against you, you get a speed boost when you run. Of course, it could be made smart enough so that a pro can't "flee" into combat really quickly.
Surprise.

Or, don't.

The extra week means more time to get shit done. I'd prefer having more stuff from the get go instead of having it trickle in over the next month or so.

So when the grindfest begins again after the reset, should I just concentrate on unarmed combat (unless it gets changed)? It sounds like expending effort on weapons might be a bit of a waste of time.

When the test server came up, I logged on quite frequently, but the system seemed broken and I never saw someone else on, so I decided to wait for test-server update announcements, which never came. The few times I got someone to agree to try to log onto the new server so we could have a sparring match, the test server was down. I believe I made a comment to that effect some time ago.

Yea... doesn't seem like the method got full support. Combat feels very raw and I doubt they can iron it out with less than two weeks left.

Will the new map be the same as
this one, or shall we be seeing an
island based map where your big
boats are possible?

As far
as I
know, it
will be
virtually the
same as
the current
map, with
a few
tiny tweaks
to the
generator. I
am sure
that a
better generator
is definitely
in the
future, however.
Surprise.

i
agree
and
if
you
can
spare
the
time
to
sculpt
some
fjords
that
would
be
awfully
nice.
