Yes, that's how i think. Moreover, I doubt whether that new game is to have better graphics at all. The screens and videos make me a bad impression , actually.
And I'm not the only one.

As gaming matures so do the tastes of gamers, some prefer 2d isometric games to graphic intensive 3d realism and textures. Moviegoers are no different, some like film noir or horror while others prefer romantic comedies.

Haven and Hearth is nearly perfect in concept, art and genre - It just needs full time development.

Personally i think the devs deliberately 'crash' the server for long periods every so often to remind us about rl and stop us becoming like that woman who starved her dog to death and let her kids exist on tins of baked beans cos she was addicted to World of Warcraft!

If this is the case they have failed, as all everyone seems to do in these periods is talk about said 'crash' on the forums whilst waiting for the game to come back up lol.

As for me, i've got my house back in ship-shape fashion, fed the dog and had a cooked meal, lol - but now i'm bored and am trailing the forums waiting for the game to come back up!

Aesthetics are simply more important than pushing the technologically possible. If the big game developers would finally recognize this they could spend more time actually developing the game instead of pumping millions into overblown graphic engines.
