They're spawning everyone randomly and not
allowing Hearth Secrets.

That's pretty good anti bot service for the
first stretch o the game

Theres things like automated farming and stuff at least. At least give them a little credit for trying. The only way to remove botting curios is to remove lp... And that probobly wouldn't work well. Or at least limit your curios you can use per day, but then people would just make alt armies and so the botting would continue...

Another solution might be that it's somehow restricted client-wise, like it wouldn't allow clicks made by the client (not by an actual person) to be sent to the server or whatever, this is just an example, I know it wouldn't work this easy. I believe it can be done client or server wise without removing systems as curios or whatever. It would be very dissapointing if loftar wouldn't do anything against botting.

how does the server know??

I would be determined to make sure that it does, just because you're so naive.

Xweetok invited me and Klaue undercover to his anti-Wayneville alliance and made us his generals on day 1. So might have been him...

I want to save everyone a lot of time on nonsensical talking. If you have zero background in programming or computer science, please refrain from commenting about how X should be done, or why not do Y. You just end up looking like a god damn moron to the people who actually understand this stuff. Hate to be a bit rude, but really, what you end up saying is jibberish that has no benefit aside from making me question humanity.

Just because someone does not have a background in programming or computer science does not mean they do not have good ideas. Never dismiss another persons voice. Some may not understand whats involved or need to be told why somehting can not work but they are here and being active in some regard.

now i got no background in programming nor computer science, but even i can see them "nonsensical" after reading and talking too many of them repeated over and over. people sometimes have to understand "what you can think of has been said" before trying to convince others how their ideas are superb. at least, it would be better to search first and stop talking like you got the best idea ever that nobody ever thought of, especially when your feedback is from years old product...

Have you ever crossed a bridge and thought "Oh man, these guys are idiots! I can design a better bridge". Or maybe you stared at sky watching a rocket shoot up thinking "NASA has nothing on me! I can build my own better rocket (with blackjack! and hookers!)".

Just because someone does not have a background in programming or computer science does not mean they do not have good ideas.

That's exactly what it means. They are talking about a client / server model, arguably one of the hardest pieces of software to program for, and saying things that simply can not work, and absolutely will not work, and is just down right nonsensical. They are commenting on a topic they have no pre-requisite knowledge about. That'd be like taking advice on how to cure cancer from me.
