This is always a good option, just make sure you can get reliable service or have somewhere to go that you can hang for hours and enjoy high speed wifi. Tigerdirect and Newegg have pretty good return policies, just FYI .

We have good laptops, but...

...this is exactly the problem. Croatia has lousy internet even in the capitol (well, it's getting ok now) but we're going to one of our many islands, where there SHOULD be ok connectivity, but there's NOT. Not nearly lol.

For now, the map has almost the same generation as the Salem map-gen (for testing purposes). That will however change. Loftar has mentionned (in an IRC talk with me, arvin and oddity) that he has plans of changing the current river system and possibly other terrain features. No word was spoken about continents or anything of that kind (doesn't mean it won't happen ofc).
And no, I didn't keep the log of that chat, maybe arvin or oddity did.
