Also think of how much time Loftar is working on the server and game to make it run better. Has anyone stopped to think of how much of a pain all that coding is? That is one thing i would not want to be doing i respect his hard work and time that he has put into the game this weekend. He could be out partying playing WoW or diablo or acting like a jerk and saying hey get off my server but no he is reading information on how to make the game play better.

Thankyou

Haha something tells me Loftar enjoys coding more than those alternatives, but that's just my completely imagined guess. Still, I agree with you that people shouldn't complain per se, but it really is a shame that this great game is crippled by technical difficulties. Still, I get your point, lets just hope the defrag makes the game more bearable for the majority of players at least.

that guy who did that thing same as the first II

Any more news on the defragging? Still only 10files/sec or any more accurate guess than 10-20hours?:P

Defrag... am I wrong, or was this the same thing done right before a world reboot?

10-20 hours is enough to defrag the game... also a similar amount of time needed to generate a new world map and reset all things to fresh start? Dunno, just a guess.

For the record, I like World 6 and would prefer that it continue. I won't rage-quit if I login tomorrow to find it all gone.

Inactive spots are ripe for the taking in this world. I've gained higher quality items and materials, access to nodes and livestock all without leaving a single scent. It will take years to get a world back into this state.

complaining about people complaining is still complaining. just thought i would point that out. and btw, i am very appreciative of his effort, but im sure that he wants a game that people actually would like to play... so to some extent "complaining" or feedback is important and needed. ill take what i can get with this game, because it is so much of a gem. when i first started playing i was like "game crippling lag? ill learn to deal with it, cause this game looks baws" i was like "just had everything stolen cause i didnt understand claims yet? ill get over it, and not complain, cause this game is baws." i was like "just took swimming cause it looked baws. lagged while i was swimming and died, cant get my shat back. ill get over it, and not complain, cause this game is baws." and now, im like "server upgrade made the game lag worse? ill live with it. cause this game is BAWS."

so yeah. there are problems... but what is the lesson here? the game is baws, so ill take what i can get.

still defragging? might as well take this time and draw stuff then.
The sum of my experience is comprised up of more skeletons on my own claim then alot of you guys have wood blocks invested in your wall. But even though these skeles show i am a bad player- i still strive to continue through this vile territory in the hopes that one day i will have an army big enough to find you and murder all you know
