Maybe better to use "agile" development mode to have better progress?

For now, the map has almost the same generation as the Salem map-gen (for testing purposes). That will however change. Loftar has mentionned (in an IRC talk with me, arvin and oddity) that he has plans of changing the current river system and possibly other terrain features. No word was spoken about continents or anything of that kind (doesn't mean it won't happen ofc).
And no, I didn't keep the log of that chat, maybe arvin or oddity did.

Yes, Oddity did, it's in here.

whats that for? when only 2 devs are working on it and loftar is the only one programming...

I'm not mean bdd or tdd. I mean it can be cool if game can have something like monthly updates, not one big update, but many little.
Something like we implement new items - update, we add new type of automatic harvesting - update.
Not one big version once in year.

I think it can create bigger community and popularitate game.
I like it as it now - little and with soul, but I think it ready for big population.

i guess its about your definition of "agile development", but if you meant implementing updates regularly, that was what they used to do before they were involved with salem - most likely before you joined. i really dont see the point of your suggesting what they used to do.

Pretty damn excited, won't lie. I was pretty sceptical at first, but after seeing this I can't believe I ever doubted you guys! Can't wait to try it.

Also, mad props for keep the OG music, it's so gud!
I had a retardedly huge signature and have gotten this embarrassing replacement to show for it.

They wear doing biweekly/monthly updates at the start of world 7 as well. Which I think they will be doing again once this new version comes out. This is a large rewrite that I think will give slightly better flexibility in what they can do. Plus they are cleaning up the parts of the game that are messy atm. The belief system is a big one, which they said they have changed it a lot from what has been said.
