Sign decay 2 days on a claim, 1 day off a claim
Log decay (boards, blocks) 8 hours on a claim, 2 hours off

Save us some stress on the server

Gets even easier if you have a sword, 2 IP and one sting will always kill even with 2 MC

hey noobs, they did a global purge of signs once and it didn't do shit*, so shut it.

I'm not talking about the lag if I was included in that, I'm talking about the general BS of signs everywhere. The only real solution is the players cleaning up after themselves. Can't bitch about it if you're a contributor etc.

Either way signs should decay as well as blocks and boards. Hell my palisade cornerposts decay and they was made with 10x more shit than a measly 1 branch sign.
