Quivers wont work well because if you are land hunting and fighting a herd, you will run out of arrows especially mouflons. They come in large packs. Until the developers make more space, I came up with an idea. Pack 2 chests of arrows inside your boat incase you run out in your quiver. That way u dont have to worry about making more arrows.

Haven and Hearth The New Super Grind expansion pack available now. Seems to me that the patch nerfed noobs more so than anything else.

Wallbreakers deleted...nice
Palisade weakened...nice but not 100% necessary
Slings bow etc...tough to make complete heads and tails.

Slings....the noob weapon if i heard everyone correct... it seems to me that a new character would have to spend a month cutting down trees and stealing carrots in order to raise PER and MM to be able to hunt with sling now and most things will prolly run away. When i first started a couple months ago or so, i foraged for 100 blueberries to get a Q200 sling so i then could actually hunt and get meat and bones for trade. My toon is good to go with bows now though. But most definetly will not be starting and more toons. I really enjoyed being able to go and hunt animals and mussells at the same time which proves very irritated now.
agreeing with other posters.
Quiver fix would be great -- not being able to pull arrows and see Q
Some sort of belt possibly only 3 spots...waterflask, skinning knife (new item differs from stone axe), key chain not having to unequip bow constantly to skin debone, make arrows, reequip bow etc repeat over and over. ....Skinning knife idea....bone + iron or steel..Quality could equal 1/3 Q of bone and 2/3 Q of metal. This may help economy as well since not all would be able to make these but people would love to have them. I know even being just barely our of newbland i would be will to forage or grind a lot of crap for someone to make me a knife and belt so that i didnt have to constantly be swapping out tools.

Arrow Q not effecting Aim would be great...Aim 4 times Q instead of 2x would be a lot more bearable. As a RL bow hunter of whitetail deer. I can buy arrows for $5 ea or $25 each...they effect how severe the injury is to the animal but not how long it takes me to aim at them.. I think an incentive for HQ arrows is good but making almost essential is argh... HQ arrows should be mostly damage not nearly as much aim.....i feel like am i rambling now and losing train of thought will post again when more awake

After finally reading through all this (account stolen) i think we should at least have something to store stones in as now the max damage you can do with a sling is 70. also maybe decrease its base damage instead of making it useless because if you fight a deer you will never win unless your lucky enough for it not to heal.

Hmm, don't know if it's intended or not but I think this also happens for natural decay. A large section of old palisade is just completely gone in my village, and it doesn't look like anyone was here. However, although the palisades were on paved ground, they weren't in the village claim; only a small portion was part of a personal claim (so perhaps the destroying effect continued through the personal claim) and they were in bad condition to begin with.

Question, so if I go ahead and place a palisade cornerpost to defend my psuedo village, I have to wait a good 12 hrs to build onto it and keep the rabble out? lol

Should be just palisade not brickwall. Keep in mind palisades can be handbashed still.

Ok so I re-read through all the posts and no where is it mentioned as to WHY village idols were given this cooldown.

Was there any actual purpose to it other than just giving it a cooldown?
