Unless you are well geared and willing to spend 72-80+ hours online staring at your drying rams, the vault owner can easily break them down and make you start all over again.

If the vault owner logs on every 1-2 days, it's too hard to the point where nobody would go through the trouble for any amount of loot or vengeance.
Of another era.

seems legit to me, all you need to do is hire someone with insomnia to stand at the rams while they dry.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Bring back Charter Stones (seriously, make people spawn on them like they do Hearth Fires, problem solved, no more jump issue), and add 'Personal Claim Decay'. That would go a *long* way towards making things playable.

Welp, Salem is fucked up even more. Now to consider returning to Haven early or not...

What I'm saying:

In regards to personal claims: They need to stop being permanent. They should accrue authority the same way villages do, so that they'll eventually go away and let nature take back over that chunk of land.

Re: Charter Stones
Instead of having people spawn *next* to the charter stone, make them spawn *on* it. That way the wall jumping exploit would be removed. Further, make it possible for you to walk out of it even if someone else is already there, to avoid griefing in that method. (This problem is well-known when people walk into a house immediately after each other).

Charter stones were one of the cornerstones of my village development.
