is this reset today, or next week? i'm confused, and lost track and there's been too much bs/arguing to want to read through it all.

Or maybe a announcement with the reset in the title would be nice instead of hiding it a combat change?

THANKS!

It'll happen whenever J&L feel like it.

Jorb mentioned as an aside that it was "a couple of weeks off" (paraphrasing) and many of us seized on that as proof positive that it was exactly 14 days from his post.

It may be this week, it may be next week, it may be December.

Personally I'm reckoning it'll be in "a couple of weeks" while still madly hoping against hope that they pull the plug earlier rather than later. I feel no motivation to play knowing I'm going to have to repeat everything in a week or two.

"two" is much more specific than "couple of" which is a vague term similar to "a few"

and giving even that much warning wasnt a good idea, didnt you guys learn anything from the last time

Hey, they succeeded in fixing that nasty lag that had been annoying everyone. For two weeks, anyway. ;)

Yeah, I could be misreading it, but Im guessing it will be the weekend after the coming one.

New map on friday or early saturday = massive lag all weekend :)

Do the new map on a Monday. Lag will be staggered, a little.

Then mankind would have become as the Great Old Ones; free and wild and beyond good and evil, with laws and morals thrown aside and all men shouting and killing and revelling in joy. Then the liberated Old Ones would teach them new ways to shout and kill and revel and enjoy themselves, and all the earth would flame with a holocaust of ecstasy and freedom.

"couple" means two. It is very specific. That it is ever used to mean anything else is a misnomer. IF anything it is more similar to 'pair' than 'two' because it has an intrinsic denotation of joining even though its use often discards such connotations.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.
