I'm not amused :<

Are you sure that's not the new perception feature? How much per do you have?

What new perception feature are you talking about?
loftar: The inner chaos of the Jorbian mind is hard to conceal. :)
jorb: It's called creative license. You know, that thing you seem to want to apply to logic, grammar and coherence? :)

Determining quality level is now limited to your perception X 2.
So if you have a perception of 20, you can see item quality of up to 40, anything higher will only show up as 40+.

Gah, this means there are massive opportunities for fleecing less perceptive players, my reputation as a honorable trader is at risk :<<<<<
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

You have to actually pick up the object when you're wearing the spectacles to get the enhanced revelation

Actually trade is BOOMING in H&H lately since the alcohol fix. This new drunk thing is some curiousness but nothing major. It goes away fast enough.

Let's clear up some assumptions here:

When I say farming has been nerfed from MAXQL = farming + 50 without any reduction to MAXQL = farming with reduction then I mean that, instead of assuming I didn't read the OP and that I'm too stupid to see a + sign after the QL number ingame, because both of these things aren't the case here.

Thank you and have a nice day ^^.

The perception thing is weird.

Idea:
Perhaps to reflect reality better, QL above a certain point (Per*2 perhaps) will be less accurate. Depending on distance from your Perception value, your QL readings become increasingly inaccurate (varying by a small amount at first, to large amounts in the higher values). Say, Jorb has 20 Perception and is looking at a 80 QL item. Since it's well above his normal range, he could see it as QL 72-85. The upper and lower limits are randomly generated so as to make it harder to actually get a good guess as to the item's true quality.

Similarly, Loftar with his 35 perception would see it more like 78-81. As he's much closer, he'll have a much better idea of what quality it is. Jorb only has a basic idea of the quality range.

This way, even an inexperienced and non-perceptive person can look at the general picture and get a good idea of the quality range of the item. A more experienced, perceptive person can better pinpoint the quality until finally it is exact.

What he said. Sounds excellent. Would add a certain level of feasibility to trading despite the obscuration.

Yeah, that sounds much better than now.

Boats would have been much appreciated :p

This is alright, I guess...

I hate the new quality system though, half the world is gonna be unable to see their quality of items...

You should make it the way the other guy said, IE you can see roughly what the quality of the item is.
