meh it's been pretty bad today, but not as bad as you are describing, 5 minutes to cut a tree? sounds like a combination of you and the server there to be honest

I'm lagging only if move enough away from home, and when just log in. Also i notice this: when i log in i need to wait couple seconds then move couple steps, then wait until all armor and tools repaints on char and after that open inventory. If i do so there is no problem, otherwise i cant open crates, inventory, armor and tools on char dont appear (he looks like he naked)
and if i in house i cant see cupboards, loom, herb. table and other things, but still see food table. I use Ender Client.
