Why would they do that? They'll be horribly swamped with work getting the game to maximum polish right before the release and busy figuring out how to get the gears running smoother afterwards.

Teck is closer, but I'm going to call it at least six months after Salem is out. Not only will they have the "post-release blues" of dealing with Salem, it all has to be coded into HnH, too. You can see signs of loftar tinkering with some of the code when he can, but there's only so much you can do in your off hours when you used to have time to work on a project all day.
And how is Jorb going to confirm the release of the "new" HnH when they don't even have an official release date for Salem yet? I'm just going to laugh at all of you with bleeding fingers from typing "when's the server going to be reset" repeatedly. Remember: w3 ran for well over a year before a hardware failure took it down.
