not going to argue the point of greater good
i can give you a story from my own experience

i met my close ingame friends through a hearth secret that i chose randomly
i would not have met the closest friends i've had in H&H, if it was not for hearth secrets
taking out hearth secrets, first time im hearing of this, makes me rethink my H&H future

Is hafen going to come with some kind of officially supported map? Rather than player made ones like alg's, etc?

And while I'm excited to see the diversity in players, and everyone forming new groups and factions from developing locally rather than forum chats, it does seem a little dickish to make it damn near impossible for people who have been playing together the entire time they've had haven, to no longer be able to start together. It seems to me like the first few weeks will just be people grinding char's until they find their co-ords and can connect with the groups they've made in previous worlds.

Also what does this mean for village recruitment? Will there be some kind of different system of doing that now? Or will we just have to give co-ords to people with developed characters and hope they survive the trip. Unless recruiting is done exclusively local and in game?

Let us reflect upon the good he was able to do during his short time in the hearthlands.
Let us remind ourselves of his bravery and willingness to fight for the safety of his friends!
Let us hope he can surpass his previous achievements in his future lives.

hmmm I could see a beacon we can make to allow friend to find us... ( an object we build that gives x uses for people to spawn) all non metal... costs a lot of wood. Though seeing people chopping down a large forest to get there friends to em is kind of ironic lol.

Don't expect them to be there in any form even remotely resembling their current one. :)

Please don't tell me you're replacing personal beliefs with something like Purity from salem, as well as adding back that biles shit and Inspirationals.

Those were the things I hated most about salem, total clusterfuck of nonsense making things more complicated than it needed to be.

I'm looking forward to sadly experience again what i did this world already - spawn somewhere in the wild - checking the area - settle - meet others that spawned there (and have been "strangers" to me) - team up with them - build a palli, create a village - make friends with others in the area - share resources - and see them all go inactive not very much later ... and play on as hermit ...

There goes my idea of teaming up with players that play constantly which i learned to know ingame or at forums in the next world ...

gratz!

Going to force us to travel to meet friends? Not a very community friendly choice. I can understand why but surely there is another way.

At last! A change for the better. I'm all for not having to play with alt chars and having two mains due to personal beliefs. I don't see why people would think this affects casuals more than no-lifers, Nao is right in what he says.

I would like to ask if you are changing the way gates work and having to carry keys then?
