Now this sounds like an J-RPG

One of those that starts with "Enemy X was so powerful that the bunch of mages Y could do nothing but hold the beast inside a really powerful spell...."

my theory on the "no hearthfires" things is so everyone can get a equal start whitout vets grouping up from the get go

We gather around and trap the bear within a maze of a thousand hearth fires then.[/quote]



We could have people try to block the bear while others dig the ground and get branches for experience. Then we use that experience for basic combat skills.

There will be hearthfires, but no spawning at other people's hearthfire.


But I believe Jorb said something about maps so that should make it at least a little easier to find your friends.
