I love how everyone is like "what about the noobs!"

The sling change is not really of their concern, just cause they were all piggy-backing on the skilled players god-tier slings doesn't mean having to use one of q10 damage is a bad thing. I remember being a noob, and being proud of my q10 while running around fencing in foxes and boars and wreaking havoc on all wild-life. Before, anyone could be a crazy efficient hunter which was probably what the problem was, now it takes more to be efficient. So in that respect, I'm fine with the change. I'm not happy with how much it slows down my hunting so much though.

The times have changed. Grab your young ones and run wildlife, the time of punches has arrived!

a newb char with a sling and a boat can still manage to kill bears at river bank or by getting it stuck at trees, it just takes a lot longer time.

but with deer, oh dear... of course, they are not agressive at least.

I'am not a newbie, but hunting for for me its pain in the ass. 125 MM, 250q sling or 40q wooden bow, i can't kill deer. Half of hour i spend killing bear. This update... i have no words.

lol of course you can build CR's* (now unbreakable) inside that range. Leaving zero free tiles to build a ram on.........
this might bring down the fist of jorb.

*yes i tested it with CR sign posts.

It would be better to buff the lp for other tasks, because as someone mentioned before nobody likes that much grind in a permadeath game (that the whole lp system might be flawed regarding this is another topic). As it stands now nothing can compete with high lvl farming anymore, which makes the game for people who like having good chars quite boring.

Anything that completely prevents ramming will probably be fisted.

You quoted me on something I didn't write. It was a quote in one of my other posts

Noobs aren't supposed to have a chance against a lvlX bear. It's a lvlX bear, dammit. It's the strongest animal in the game, noobs should run in fear, not bring them down in 2-4 hits.

Use a better bow, duh. How can you compare hunting with a Q250 sling with hunting with a Q40 wooden bow? Get a decent bow, get decent arrows, suddenly hunting is fine again.
