Or travelling by boat and just look around...that's my way of having fun...

When I was but thirteen or so
I went into a golden land,
Chimborazo, Cotopaxi
Took me by the hand.

My father died, my brother too,
They passed like fleeting dreams,
I stood where Popocatapetl
In the sunlight gleams.

I dimly heard the master's voice
And boys far-off at play, ---
Chimborazo, Cotopaxi
Had stolen me away.

I walked in a great golden dream
To and fro from school ---
Shining Popocatapetl
The dusty streets did rule.

I walked home with a gold dark boy
And never a word I'd say,
Chimborazo, Cotopaxi
Had taken my speech away.

I gazed entranced upon his face
Fairer than any flower ---
O shining Popocatapetl
It was thy magic hour:

The houses, people, traffic seemed
Thin fading dreams by day;
Chimborazo, Cotopaxi,
They had stolen my soul away!

++++++++++++++++++

Argument for my point of view even if my age is a bit more...

yep jackard me noob in HnH

The one good thing about the large world is that politics got more regionalized.

Just saying "oh I can find X animals" doesn't mean the world is too big. I've stalked large areas in the outer grids and still found tons of IX. Make the world too small and all the trees will be behind village walls. Not real fun for newbies or anyone trying to make a new start. If you want more competition then you need to control crop quality since that's what's really pushing the quality now more than resources.

I know that this kind of post makes threads go crazy off-kilter but...
making porting more difficult would also serve to regionalize things. And I liked the relative regionalism quite a bit.

"i explored for mine/soil/water/clay for two days and did't found any above 50. Everything above 50 had a village claim on it." And it was 4 S-E pre-expansion SG's.
I am pretty sure it means the world was enough size both for explorers AND major village wars over resources.
Not to mention that player base grows constantly and YOU, who got himself everything he wanted (like all those spots mentioned), have no right to decline new players from getting same without becoming part of YOUR village.

Jorb, can we put boat in the cart? One boat - three slots.
Want it since start playing in january 2010.
It will be great for big settlements of independent hearth, when everyone keep boat on his own claim. And that roads from one river to another will be very useful.

"...
This weekend he planned to harvest some rarely plants in dark, ancient forest at far side of the lake. After light breakfast he take birch basket and go out. There was early morning: labour peasants of Bitardsk still sleeping after another valiant working day. ganila place basket under the bench of spruce-wooden boat. Last evening after dwarves ended palisade to protect commune's storehouse from rat-kun he take remained boards and after late apple supper repair his boat.
- Repair sleds in summer, but cart in winter. - often says his grand-uncle. He change planks that was broken by sudden bear attack. "Obviously strange that we have bears, but there is no vodka. Without it we can't make them our allies." - he thought.
ganila easily lift pair-oar small boat and put on the cart, than by few quick dexterous motions fixed it. ..."

Sorry for grammar, I'm too weary in body.

Wonderful seed for the world creation machine.
