thats actually an interesting idea :) takes up to a month to find the maximum quality stuff
i guess it spreads out the finding of nodes over an even longer period. i dunno if that is good though.

As to the alt army, i'll probably just play with one character again as a bit of a challenge :)

The community wants a reset.
If we had one every 4-6 months it would be perfect.

If only everybody had the noble intentions as you do, sir.

to be honest, you really only need 2 chars(one nature and one industry) but, like I said, most if not all, will have an alt for every lil skill :(

Not to go against the wipe (i like the hermit life), but reset worlds since 2008 and still didn't coded half of what really usefull was suggested in that forgotten forum called Critique & Ideas.

Asking for horses since w1. For bridges, for something at last that allow you to cross rivers with your foots. An "ally villages" system that allows you to be part of more than 1 village. Have catapult so vaults are not problems. Have also a Defence system, so raiders aren't overpowered. Just to not mention all the troubles already sayd in this topic, and future exploit with the new "fix" they'r doing.

We were able to find an exploit in half day. You think they tought so deeply about what they are doing?
We will see world 8,9,10, N²³ and this is becoming pretty useless.

Have a whole new world to explore is exciting for me too, but i seriously ask to devs to STOP act like spoiled childs and start to be serious. If they need more time it's not a problem 'cuz no one pay them, so put the damn time you need to think what you're doing.
Ther's a fix to do? Ok. Think it like if it's done, imagine how it whould be, find in your mind the bug and change the fix. Do this until you don't find something that seems Strong against exploits.

You know the best way to kill a player, actually? Claim a Huge area, cover it with Crappy Fences and most of medium player will be death before reach the core, cuz they need to vandalize tile and tiles. So? So you create an alt, grow it until he have all the criminal skills and use it to destroy fences and open a road. Then we have 1 reason more to have alts.
Oh lol. 5 minuts i found an exploit and a broken alt mechanism.

Wait let me think 5 minuts more...Ah yeah.
Few people suggested that the resources node will be covered with paving (for mistake) and ther's NOTHING u can do to reverse this. How bad! :/
But this wasn't a big problem till now. NOW this will be a problem. I hope they'll add a "remove paved/grass/road tile" option in our menu, but they will? Who know. Probably neither tought about this problem.
3 minuts passed.

And the 5l mine vault. With the actual tracking system will be almost impossible understand where the heck is a raider, if is underground. BUT you can't use tracking in a cave. OPS. Maibe this should be fixed too?

ther's the need to think more on what is gonna happen, before wipe it all.

I agree with all what you said Flame but as long as they are developing fucking Salem I think they will only repair "emergencies" like the ones that made necessary the reset of the world. This can be dangerous because as you said the changes, suggestions and bugs we want to see changed are taking longer and longer and now there is the Salem excuse..

Bit of a shock when I woke up this morning and saw this - wasn't sure wether to laugh or cry tbh!

The fixes seem good to me, it's a start. The only two i'm a bit unsure about are:

Authority objects now possible to ram
Claim stakes can now be destroyed when the owner hasn't been logged in for one RL month.


Is there any way at all Loftar that you would consider changing that to TWO rl months? (I know it's not likely but if you don't ask you'll never know.)

So, goodbye cruel world - :(

Damn flame. You summed it all up in one post.
I think it's not too late yet, thy just need the time during w7 to make the game perfect with all the things flame described. After that they can just add more stuff to it.
