Roasting meat is slightly faster...not fast enough imo - best that we get a roasting pit like an oven just for meat (kiln sized compartments please :P) as mentioned somewhere in the C&I section.

Now, CAVES - I still have a question/wish - I would like to extend my village's claim to the inside of a cave a few minimaps away from us. Now, I don't want to spend a bunch of linen to make banners towards the entrance for nothing, so I'd very much LIKE it if you could make it so that when we claim the cave entrance, there is a bit of space INSIDE the cave at the entrance that is under our village's claim so that we can continue building banners inside.

I'm sure a lot of players would appreciate this. Thanks in advance :D

Macro's and autoclickers aside, it's just not a very good idea in general. Maybe think about it a little more and try to explain it more clearly.

Personally I think this is the way it should be.

But I think those are all separate issues that need to be dealt with directly. These changes are about weapon balance. All hunting currently revolves around "one shot" kills, buggy bear fleeing code, animals stop fleeing at a certain distance, signpost trapping, etc. In other words... current hunting is pretty cheesy and needs a fix independent to what's being done here.

This. I like how the combat system is very involved (if you don't have a godly weapon, I suppose); you don't simply right-click an enemy and sit back as your guy attacks it while mashing potion hotkeys like in 50% of the MMOs I've played. It was really a shame that these cheap methods of hunting were the only reasonable ones for non-god characters. I used to think about direct combat, but it sure sounded like you'd need to level it a ton before being able to really use it at all... something much slower and riskier that would eat away your armour and HP while everyone else would simply be slinging their way to victory. Probably gonna try it out more now that slings are useless.

yes or a way for us to build a second personal claim inside the cave that can only be build as a secondary claim inside caves or mine. +1

That sir, would be pointless.

We just need mine pclaims, pretty badly too, that's important to a proper village.

Personal claims in mines would be nice, but it should still be possible to claim an entire mine by placing a claim that covers the entrance. Otherwise it will be impossible for an individual to actually own a mine. Sure you can make a one-man village, but private property rights should still be respected.

Just get 2-3 guys, lure the others away and time your shots together, I did it with 5MM and 3 people, it can be done much better with 10+ MM though.

And soon the world will be without any trace of mankind, apart from bones of failed newbies and circles of brickwalls around mine holes in the middle of nowhere.

2, and it was a lvl VII, with q16 slings
its important to make sure they arnt too close together
one way is attack and lure them away, another is a partial fence, giving each no option but walk further away from eachother, then really box them all in, taking em out 1 at a time. Deer have a tendency to actually walk towards an animal thats hurt in order to heal it
