However, Jorb and Loftar think this is the right thing to do, so I'll take it as it comes and enjoy whatever happens next.

Honestly, as long as HnH is up and running, I'm happy.

TeckXKnight wrote:The fixes that are coming into play help a lot with vaults and sieges. It removes the invincibility of a lot of places and the imminent danger of some of the worse raid bugs. In the end most of these only matter if you raid/get raided but that's a pretty important aspect of the game. Even just making being raidable a threat to vaults again removes the cajones of a lot of players who only dick around because they know there won't be consequences. It also gets rid of some of the more common bug jumps and other workarounds that let you casually wipe out newbies in seconds.
In the end this reset does not benefit everyone, but once again, resets aren't made to benefit anyone. Their value is in attempting to balance the game and bring it to the ideal that it was set out for. If you disagree with that ideal? Cool. I'm sorry to hear that but I hope you continue having fun with the game. If you agree with that ideal? Cool. I'm glad to hear that and I hope you continue having fun with the game.
Also the fact that this update is going to allow us to clear inactive and alt claims is pretty much enough for me to be 100% okay with it. I hated alt claims. That's just my opinion though.

i dont even understand how thats possible, its ~140K lp, you can only get about 1-2k from discovery early on, how the fuck do you get 138k LP in curios in under 24 hours?

In w4 there were people with murder within the first 30-60 minutes of play. That was fucking terrifying. =D
I still believe that you can if you get a good group going together and can pump out fast acting curios and maybe a couple of pearls. I'd have to run the math but it doesn't seem too far fetched, especially if you find high quality nodes early on.
