Brick walls can't be punched down even right now.

Alright, call me stupid, but I don't see how being unable to group-spawn is a positive change in any way. I appreciate diversity and all, but as much as it sounds like a fun experiment to look at from a god's perspective, I as a player cannot get my mind wrapped around how stupid, inconvenient, annoying and boring it would be to not be able to play with my group of friends (until I develop my character enough to get to them anyways, sure. But most of the fun comes from starting the world with your friends and working together to get your village started, not from grinding up your character for days alone before you can even meet them).

sigh... sorry for my complaining, but this is sounding NOTHING like the haven I like to play.
Just my humble opinion as a player, again. I don't mean to dictate over how the devs should make their projects, and I cannot pretend to know what is good for everyone, but I as a player cannot see in any way or matter how this would improve gameplay for us.

Is there any more explanation to this idea, or is it simply going to be "spawn anywhere, and have fun playing with no one you know until someone makes a haven map and you can HOPE to find them"?

I'm going to have to go with you on this one. The game isn't the same when you're roaming around for weeks trying to find your friends who are more than likely to be on the other side of the damn world. There's people like me who like to get shit done fast, without hearth secret spawning it limits my abilities as not only a team player but as a fighter as well.

I personally think the independent-spawning mechanic is a neat addition, only concerns would be whether I would actually meet anyone. I can understand meeting new people and forming new villages, at least during the first few weeks, but this is a fundamentally social game, with the new mechanic there is no guarantee of comrades. It might be viable as a way to prevent getting 100 combat stats in the first week, but I think it would overall diminish the play-ability of a new world. As for late world... what if all of the villages in the world had different friends of yours become their members? It would potentially change the entire social dynamic of haven as we know it, possibly even more assfucking in general. Doesn't sound too perfect in my opinion.

To be honest capped Q10 rabbits always bothered me, why can I not raise rabbits in the way I raise chickens?
Please make rabbits breed-able in coops in new haven. then your sausages will be better!

Wait a minute. I see what they're doing.

They're going to separate us and make us
socialize with eachother while we're still
weak and can't kill eachother. So naturally
we start becoming friends and don't want
to kill eachother later on.

THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE ME TALK TO
THE PEOPLE I WILL ONE DAY KILL.

Damnit Jorbtar, you know it's harder to kill
someone that talks to me. Last time this
happened I was going to talk my way into
a guy's brickwall and butcher everyone...
and ended up getting in and giving them all
my gear and walking away...

Damn "That's my wife! She's a little afraid
of you, but i trust you" bullshit.
